[NEWS] 120915 Ryohei Kato reported at Inzai city hall for a courtesy visit

Ryohei Kato, a silver medalist of Japan Men’s Gymnastics Team at the London 2012, reported at Inzai city hall for a courtesy call from the Mayor on September 14, 2012.

“I was aiming for the gold medal, but I’m still glad I got the silver medal while making myself carefree on stage,” Kato said. “Congratulations on being active in the world. I want you to take the gold medal after 4 years at the Rio 2016,” the Mayor said.

When asked about the secret of his spiritual strength, Kato explained that it is just a matter of self-confidence and practicing firmly. “Gymnastics is a beautiful sports, and I want to show off the great skills to compete in the world, and I promise to improve my skills further.”
